The Right Place Early Learning Center offers Nationally Accredited Early Childhood Education to children, ages 2 years and 8 months to five, and helps children to acquire the skills they need to be successful learners when they enter kindergarten. To reinforce the importance of the role of the family in their child’s success, parents take part in numerous family engagement opportunities while their children are enrolled.
Our beliefs are based on understanding that each child is unique in their approach to learning, therefore we focus on individual development. Our programs are aligned with Connecticut’s Early Learning and Development Standards that guide us in preparing children for kindergarten.
Every child and family who is part of The Right Place program becomes part of a larger community that: includes partnerships with volunteers, local resources, and educators all coming together to provide an enriching educational experience. We respect that parents are a child’s first teacher and see them as a vital component of our school as partners, advocates and collaborators.
The Right Place is available for a reasonable cost. We are a school readiness subsidized program and offer a sliding-scale fee based on family income and size. Meals are provided at no cost.
